Bob was born in
Wolfville, Nova Scotia , Canada . As a youngster, he attended art classes at Acadia University . From the first moment he started to draw, he began creating cartoons. He attended the Nova Scotia College of Art on a Scholarship program. Still always drawing, he joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and for the next 25 years performed duties across Canada and in Europe . His second career spanned 10 years as the Senior Adviser and Director of Security Operation with the Privy Council Office and Office of the Prime Minister in Canada’s national capital, Ottawa. Now retired, he and his wife reside in South Surrey, just south of Vancouver , British Columbia . His first published cartoon was in 1962 in Ottawa , entitled
“Pud”. This was followed for many years by his copyrighted cartoon
“Noseworthy”. While retired in British Columbia he wrote and illustrated a children’s book “Nebula” (ISBN 1-4120-3525-2). Always interested in horses, he created two cartoons for the racing industry, “Horse Wit” and “Harness Humor”. A musician all his life, he recently began learning the fiddle. This new interest has resulted in a working relationship with Mike McGee and FiddleFork. A new cartoon has been created and
